Step 1: Start at the desktop. Find your "Outlook Express" icon and double click on it.
Step 2: Click on the "Tools" menu at the top of the Outlook Express window. Scroll down to "Message Rules" and click on "Mail".
Step 3: Click on the "New" button. A menu will pop up with four selections. Under "Select the Conditions for your rule" check "Where the Subject line contains specific words"
Step 4: Next under "Select the Actions for your rule" we reccomend that you check "Delete It" as our filetering system has proven to be accurate. Or, as an alternative you can check "Flag It" and then delete as necessary.
Step 5: Under "Rule Description" click on "Contains Specific Words"
Step 6: In this step under "Type specific words or a phrase" you will need to enter "{SPAM?}" , and then click on "Add" then on "OK".
Step 7: And finally in the last box "Name of the rule" type "SPAM" and click "OK"
Congratulations! You have successfully configured Outlook Express for SPAM Filtering.
